Best street food I’ve ever had (and I’m a street food person!) I got the combo - quick service, affordable, and unbelievably tasty! Meat was tender and juicy, aubergine was sweet and delicious and would have paid just for the rice alone! I already know I’m going to miss this when I’m back in London. Gorgeous aftertaste as I write this! Afghan street food for FTW!

The combo and chicken wrap were so delicious. I would never have thought to our grapes and rice together. But it oddly works. This was our first time trying Afghan food and it definitely did not disappoint. The meat was so tender and the chutney gave the bowl a bit of an extra kick.

Had the signature rice bowl. Meat was very tender. We thought that it will be dry but together with the rice, carrot and raisins, the whole combination worked perfectly.
It was indeed a great introduction to the taste of Afghan hospitality and food culture. Will for sure seek out more Afghan dishes and places in the future.

It's great that you can finally find Afghan food in Copenhagen - it would be nice to get a little more rice, in my opinion. And for vegetarians, maybe they could include roasted tomatoes/a salad instead of the meat (for Kabuli Palau)
Unfortunately, Reffen doesn't allow vendors to sell drinks (I guess they want to keep a monopoly with their expensive & boring bar) otherwise I would love to try some Afghan Pink Chai 'Shir Chai'This was my first time trying Afghan food, so I don't have a comparison. I got the combo and both dishes were really good (especially the Borani Bonjan).
The combo was amazing, rice was buttery and the eggplant was fried perfectly. The green chutney was EPIC.

AWASANA is one of the best options at Reffen if you’re looking for “home made” food. All looks súper fresh and Kabuli Palau is delicious!!!!! 🤩 For sure you need to give Afghan food a chance 🙌🏽

Awasana is much more than delicious food. The flavors of the food are incomparable as well as the care and love with which they work. Super recommend 😋😍

The borani bonjan is the best dish at this wonderful market! Awasana serves their deep fried aubergine twists in a fresh and slightly tangy tomato sauce with voluptuous, fluffy pita breads. After a couple of disappointments at other stalls with quality, friendliness and portion sizes, Awasana was a joy.
